I hadn't kept up with it since the end of Season 8, and "Degrassi Goes Hollywood" I had went back for my last year of Undergrad, and I wasn't able to watch anymore shows.. so yea.. I fell way behind there
And I didn't want to skip ahead a season or 2.. so I decided to just see if I can start back at season 9 and work my way up to where they currently are at with the series..
So I may be all caught up on my Degrassi soon enough.

I know by now people realize that I have a new Avatar that was done by BFB1131 from the xanga world.

What you also may or may not know... Besides the backstory that he came up with for me:

While trying to recover the egg the dig team trigger several traps all but Viper fell to them, but his eye firmly on the goal Viper left his fellows to their fate and escaped with the relic. Upon opening the egg he realised he had found the last remaining Dragon, the mythical beast was weak and young but still barely alive, sensing its terrible power ViperPhoenix cut out it’s heart and ate it. Within him the Dragon was reborn and so was he in a new body of fire. Together they became ViperPhoenix. With the ability to fly generate firestorms and take incredible damage he is almost unstoppable, when his powers run low he must regenerate by draining the energy from the dead razing the corpses as a skeleton army that are bound to his will.

i'd post about some of my Nutang Mobile experiences This was all done on T-zones, which is T Mobile's mobile internet service. and it was a Nokia 5300,
Of course the mobile version probably won't be accessible from a smart phone anyways..... In any case, I started off on August 1, 2007 with trying Nutang from my phone, which I covered in some detail with the post: libaryburninhell/Nutang on my mobile phone/wow i'm amazing myself...
In which I mention how I used the Google mobile translation of the page to do browsing earlier in that day or so
I guess the mobile version had counted each object on the page or each part of a page as a page view or something because I manged to get "Pages surfed: 752" for August, and that was only the 1st of the month.
I was having a very hard time trying to do an entry, as it had a tendency of logging me out of nutang like after 5-10 minutes of not changing to another part of the page and I had to do either really short entries off the phone, or type up the entry as a text message, and copy and paste it onto nutang so I could post it before I got logged out.
With the fact that each page was divided between like 10-12 different parts... it made trying to browsing and posting quite the chore.. but I was working at it though
I believe that Nutang had went down for a while, and by the time that it had came back up, I did my 1st post from a cellphone onto nutang, Hell yea! NUTANG'S BACK!!!
The biggest issue I had was documented in my comments by ikimashokie, which was the fact that the entry had posted Password Protected. When I did postings from my phone through google nutang mobile, PP entries was enabled by default. I had that issue straightened out by my 2nd mobile post, and posted that one without a hitch
Of course though I was still plagued by issues of not being able to comment entries, or post from the Shoutbox..
But I do agree with the comment that The-Muffin-Man left on my 3rd Mobile post: "we should definitely start the Nutang mobile movement. Or even better, the NuPhone."
and speaking of the comments on that post, Hey randomjunk? where's my Badge for being the pioneer of Nutang mobile at? lol
SO i went on trying it out, i did it a 4th time before I took a break from trying it out for a while, as I had more regular internet access in my favor again. It took until summer before we had an 5th mobile post.. and by the 6th one.. I was calling myself Master of the Mobile phone post! or at least that's what I called that 6th mobile post anyways, lol
I had plenty of fun with those mobile postings.. .even if a religious debate in my comments was involved.. but more on religion topic in another post... even if i wasn't able to comment other blogs and such...
And then I made another landmark discovery on there Yahoo! Mobile posting saves the day!! Yahoo's interface wasn't that good either, but I was finally able to shoutbox post from my phone... and it was a lot nicer about not logging me out Wow, looking back through some of those mobile postings, I've realized, i've been through a few more things on this site than i initially realized and i'm sure there's going to be plenty more to come around here.. just you wait....
In any case, Yahoo's Mobile version of Nutang > Google's Mobile version of Nutang. I wished I had tried out Yahoo's version much sooner....
After a while i didn't have it artificially boost up my page views like it was at first, so no more tons of instant page viewing for me,lol
I definitely say though that if you're curious, try nutang on any type of non smartphone and see what your experiences are through google or yahoo
Of course with a lot of people having a smartphone these days, a lot of this post is probably irrelevant to a lot of you now. On the droid, it pretty much worked like the normal site does, without the im function correctly
Has anyone tried it on a Iphone? I wonder how it would be there....
Now that I have more regular internet access, I don't have to deal with issues of not getting online for weeks or so at a time..... But I do have to deal with issues like this: Which.. matter of fact, i'm dealing with as we're speaking... And that plan allowance... is 25mb lower than what it is in the picture above
i'm access limited until about... 3:30pm Est Tomorrow. With the usual unlimited internet between 2am-7am, so YAHOOOO there...X_X
Yea I don't feel like trying to battle the non-existant limited internet, or having to rely on tethering my edge network off my phone all night long.... so I'll stop with this post here... maybe more on Nutang mobile another time if anyone wants to know anything else about it?
